Peschiera del Garda (VR). Siamo a sud del Lago di Garda, dove il Mincio esce come unico emissario, dopo che La Sarca, 52 Km a nord, dona le sue acque a questo unico sistema fluviale. Le arcate sono quelle del ponte ferroviario che scavalca il Mincio e collega Milano con Venezia. Serata fredda, un leggero velo di nebbia scorre appena sopra il livello del fiume, alcuni potenti fari a pelo d’acqua sparano fasci di luce giallastra difficilmente gestibili con inquadratura più ampia ma si trasformano in una gradevole atmosfera accarezzando il canneto e restituendo dettagli sulle chiome delle infiorescenze della cannuccia di palude. Treppiede Manfrotto 055 X PROB , la mia fidata EOS 6D, il tuttofare 24/105mm f/4L mi hanno permesso di trovare il giusto compromesso, scattando a 58mm, f/13, 30sec di esposizione a ISO 500. Le quattro chiacchiere in compagnia di un amico fidato hanno reso il tutto ancora più piacevole.

Peschiera del Garda (VR). We are in Lake Garda south, where the Mincio river flows out as the only emissary, after La Sarca, 52 km north, gives its waters to this unique river system. The arches are those of the railway bridge that crosses the Mincio and connects Milan with Venice. Cold evening, a light veil of fog flows just above the level of the river, some powerful spotlights on the water surface shoot yellowish beams that are difficult to manage with a wider frame but transform into a pleasant atmosphere by caressing the reeds and returning details on the foliage of the inflorescences of the marsh reed. Manfrotto tripod, my trusty EOS 6D, and 24/105mm f/4L lens allowed me to find the right compromise, shooting at 58mm, f/13, 30sec exposure at ISO-500. Chatting with a trusted friend makes photography session more enjoyable!
